Facing the street, the Community Lounge is open to everyone, not just guests. For the sound system, we’ve installed “ON8” by NNNN. Developed jointly by New York-based sound designer Devon Turnbull (OJAS) and NNNN, this system delivers a physically immersive sound experience even in compact spaces. We offer breakfast (reservation required) featuring items like easy-to-enjoy sandwich boxes, sourced from local shops. During the day, the Community Lounge operates as a café serving carefully selected coffee, and in the evening, it transforms into a bar featuring a curated selection of distinctive Japanese bottles chosen by Itoshima’s Kawakubo Sake Shop.

A speaker that combines an 18-inch woofer with a bi-radial horn equipped with a modern compression driver. It incorporates a wide frequency overlap to achieve seamless, optimized performance across each frequency band with the goal of improving both the frequency response and sound quality.

BL*MART is an unmanned convenience store that connects travelers with local residents, open 24 hours a day to everyone. Rather than simply offering a wide selection of items, we carefully curate each product based on BASE LAYER HOTEL’s unique concept of “supporting a comfortable hotel stay and offering a new perspective on travel.”

Open not only to hotel guests but also to local residents, BL*MART serves as a small "culture store” where anyone can drop by casually at any time. The selection of local flavors discovered by chance during a trip, along with products used daily by locals, offers discoveries that deepen your understanding of local culture.

A space where guests can experience the 〈athletia〉 products we offer as in-house amenities. We rotate our selection of recommended items, including fragrances and skincare products, which guests are free to try out during their stay.

In addition to a washer-dryer, the laundry room features an LG Styler equipped with steam-based deodorizing and wrinkle-removal functions, providing a space where you can refresh your clothes without washing them, even while traveling.
